Various charcoal-grilled skewers,
Green peppers, tofu, smoked mushrooms,
Each bamboo stick fills the bucket.
Cooked dishes finished, we move to raw,
Sashimi beef and raw fish slices,
Horse meat and fresh oysters slide down,
Flavorful and smooth, like onsen tamago.
Amidst laughter and fine food,
Unnoticed, empty plates pile up,
Drink today while wine is here,
