A sudden whim to Keelung I race,
Lost but found by chance in that place.
At the stall entrance of Zhongchuan Street,
An old shop hidden down an alley neat.

The sign reads Three Sand Bay,
Crowds of guests in a noisy fray.
I sit and order rice noodles white,
Hunger heavy, steps alight.

Snow-white noodles slip into my mouth,
Simple snack with flavor uncouth.
Chewy, springy, a pleasant bite,
Soon the bowl is empty, quite.

Revived, I wander all around,
Xian Dong Fort with views profound.
Sea and sky in a painting blend,
Clouds rise, trees in the wind bend.

For lunch I search again, astray,
Stroll in Ren'ai Market way.
A-Cai Dumplings business thrives,
I join the crowd, order inside.

Thick-skinned dumplings taste not bad,
After the meal, I'm glad.
Drive to the Northeast Coast then,
An unknown journey to relax again.

At evening to Aodi I come,
Visit friends, seek a restaurant.
The name is plain: Black and White Hair,
Cheap seafood known everywhere.

Ginger-braised squid, sashimi raw,
Casual tasting, chatter nonstop.
Night by the coast, drive back to rest,
Write this poem to record the quest.
