Dorm power out, no books to read,
I wander off to taste a new treat.
The first two shops are locked up tight,
No luck tonight, not a single bite.

Across from the mint candy store,
Granny Soup's Ramen beckons once more.
I'd heard of it in days gone by,
Now chance brings us, you and I.

Broth is decent, toppings fair,
Noodles springy, melt in air.
Plum iced tea flows free and cold,
Orange slices, a story told.

Mid-range price, under a hundred,
Worth a try, as I have wondered.
My rating's just a personal take:
Eighty points, for goodness sake.
